Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and assistance to individuals with intellectual development disabilities. Duties

• Assist individuals with daily routines, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and mobility support
• Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, and behavioral management
• Provide care by monitoring health, hygiene, and safety needs
• Support learning through teaching basic skills, encouraging social interaction, and fostering independence
• Administer first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols to ensure well-being at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized environment suitable for daily living
• Communicate regularly with house manager about progress, concerns, or special needs

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with individuals with mental health disabilities is preferred, but not required.
• Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong understanding of behavior management techniques for adults with metal health.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members
• Demonstrated patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for caregiving roles
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain a safe environment at all times
