Position Title: Medication Technician (Med Tech)
Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies

Accurately document medication administration in the MAR/eMAR system

Monitor residents for side effects, reactions, and changes in condition
-
Report concerns, incidents, falls, or unusual behaviors promptly to nursing leadership

Order and restock medications as needed
-
Ensure medication carts, narcotic counts, and medication records remain organized and compliant
-
Communicate effectively with physicians, pharmacies, hospice, families, and staff
-
Assist residents with activities of daily living when needed
-
Follow HIPAA, infection control, and safety procedures at all times
-
Respond appropriately during emergencies and assist with resident care needs
Position Title: Patient Care Assistant (PCA)
Responsibilities:

Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
-
Help residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
-
Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding when necessary
-
Monitor residents and report any changes in condition, skin issues, behaviors, or falls immediately
-
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
-
Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas
-
Answer call lights promptly and provide excellent resident care
-
Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
-
Assist during emergencies and work as part of the healthcare team
-
Document care provided according to facility policy

High school diploma or GED
-
Med Tech certification (state requirements may vary)

CPR/First Aid certification preferred
-
Experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred
-
Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with compassion and professionalism
