Caregiver - Day Shift

Looking for a dependable rock star caregiver to care for clients in a residential home setting. Cooking, cleaning, activities, meds, ADL’s etc.

Current house opening may require DSPs who are willing to work with clients that have medical needs such as g-tubes, wheelchairs, and full ADL care (Showers, incontinence, repositioning, etc.) No experience is necessary, we will train you.

We are a growing company in need of an employee that has open availability with day shift being our primary need at this time. We have 5 residential homes within the Jan Ree neighborhood near Chemeketa Community College.

We work 3 days per week, 12 hour shifts. Day shifts run from 7am to 7pm, night shift is 7pm to 7am. We are hiring for a Friday, Saturday, Sunday Day shift.

We promote from within and there is room for growth for the right person.

We have a central event center for events and parties that are hosted for clients and staff. Staff are invited to attend events even if not currently on schedule. Some events include but are not limited to: Client Birthday Parties, Movie Days, Bingo, Trunk or Treat, Coffee Shop Mornings, Silent Auctions, Arts and Crafts and more!

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate caregiving and support to residents in a group home setting.
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and document patient observations to ensure their well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
• Administer first aid when necessary and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and support.
• Willing to listen and learn from our company nurse related to ongoing client care.

Summary

As a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will be essential in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in various settings, including group homes.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
