Job Summary: Helping Hearts is looking for reliable and dedicated Caretakers to join our team. This role is vital in providing high-quality support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, light housekeeping, personal care, and emotional support. Candidates must be dependable reliable and trust worthy We have a zero tolerance for call-outs.

Responsibilities:

• Daily Care and Support:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.

  • Help residents with mobility, including walking, transferring, and repositioning, according to care plans.

  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes in residents' appearance, behavior, and health status.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support.

• Household and Meal Assistance:

  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry to ensure a comfortable living environment for residents.

  • Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.

  • Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines while handling patient information.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Valid Driver's License.

• Previous experience in Medication Assistance is preferred.

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.

• Ability to pass pre-employment physical (drug screening) and background checks.

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
