Caregiver Evening Med Tech

Overview

Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver / Med Passer, where your ability to safely administer medications and provide hands-on care will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. This role combines caregiving responsibilities with medication administration in a memory care setting focused on safety, dignity, kindness, and teamwork.

Caregivers and Med Passers work closely with management, nursing staff, and fellow team members to ensure residents receive personalized care and support throughout their day. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, attentive, patient, and comfortable managing medications while also supporting residents with their daily needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications following physician orders and facility policies
• Accurately document medication administration and resident care
• Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
• Dressing
• Bathing
• Toileting
• Grooming
• Eating
• Mobility and transfers
• Monitor residents for behaviors, discomfort, pain, or changes related to dementia and memory loss
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and reassurance to residents

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or medication administration experience preferred
• Experience in memory care, assisted living, CBRF, or healthcare settings is helpful
• Comfortable assisting residents with personal cares and mobility
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Medication administration training or willingness to complete required training
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
