Caregiver Female Overnight

Comfort Keepers is hiring a part time and full overnight caregiver, schedule includes every other Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11p-7a. Must be able to stay until 3pm if you replacement does not arrive. Part Time and Full Time Available

The starting wage is $18/hour for Caregivers and $20/hour for CNAs. After 60 days of employment, Caregivers are eligible to enroll in our CNA training program and will receive a wage increase upon certification.

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking
• Conversation and companionship
• Interactive Caregiving
• Assistance with ADLs. Activities of Daily Living
• Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene
• Assistance with mobility may include use of transfer tools/equipment
• Assistance with medication
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift and cares
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age
• Reliable transportation, personal vehicle required
• Driver's License
• 3 years of driving experience
• Clean driving record
• Proof of Auto Insurance with your name listed as authorized driver
• High School Diploma or GED
• State and Federal background check and fingerprinting
• Lift 50 pounds safely
• Work history that shows excellent attendance
• Work history that show job retention
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently
• Positive work references
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Professional image
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
