Serene Residential Living – RCFE Caregiver Position

Serene Residential Living is currently hiring a compassionate and responsible Caregiver to join our dedicated team. We are a licensed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) providing a safe, supportive, and family-oriented environment for our residents.

Position Overview

• Position: RCFE Caregiver

• Employment Type: Full-Time

• Schedule: 5 days per week (3 Night Shifts and 2 Day Shifts)

• Shifts:

– Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Saturday & Sunday)

– Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday)

Compensation

• Starting Wage: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Overtime Pay: Provided according to California labor laws

• Potential for wage increases based on performance and tenure

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Support residents with mobility, meals, and hygiene needs
• Monitor and document residents’ physical and emotional well-being
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and family members
• Follow all facility policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with RCFE regulations

Qualifications

• Previous RCFE or caregiving experience preferred but not required
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with strong communication skills
• Ability to work both day and night 12-hour shifts
• Must pass a background check, health screening, and TB test
• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred
