Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team for overnight shifts on Fridays and Saturdays. In this vital role, you will provide attentive, respectful, and personalized care to residents in a supportive environment. Your efforts will ensure residents feel safe, comfortable, and valued during their night hours, promoting their well-being and independence. Responsibilities

• Monitor residents’ safety and well-being throughout the overnight shift by conducting regular patient observations and checking vital signs as needed.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
• Administer medications accurately following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring proper meal documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing routine cleaning duties and ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
• Observe for any changes in residents’ conditions or behaviors related to dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other cognitive impairments, reporting findings promptly.

Skills

• Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home care, or long-term care environments.
• Knowledge of patient care procedures including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable; familiarity with HIPAA compliance is essential.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate patient handling equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing early signs of health issues or behavioral changes.
