• Assist residents and patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and nutrition to promote comfort and independence
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, accurately documenting findings in electronic health records or medical documentation systems like MAR's
• Support medication administration following proper protocols and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance
• Perform clinical tasks such as catheter care, tube feeding, and assisting with medical procedures under supervision of nursing staff
• Maintain detailed medical records and documentation of patient care activities in accordance with healthcare standards and legal requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs in assisted living, hospice, or acute care settings
• Prior experience working in assisted living communities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home health environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient care procedures
• Hands-on experience with MAR
• Familiarity with caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized support
• Experience administering medications and managing medical equipment like catheters or feeding tubes is advantageous
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
• Previous roles involving assisted living facility or boarding care; candidates should be comfortable working in fast-paced clinical settings requiring attention to detail
