Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Med Tech to join our team for the first shift, providing exceptional care and support to residents in a vibrant, community-focused environment. Duties

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication administration in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner
• Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; report any abnormalities promptly
• Support residents with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia care, including memory care activities and behavioral management strategies
• Provide assistance with medical procedures such as tube feeding, catheter care, and basic nursing tasks under supervision
• Maintain detailed medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date
• Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive patient care in assisted living, nursing home, or hospice settings

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic nursing practices including medication administration and vital signs monitoring
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring memory care support
• Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
• Certification as a Medical Technician (Med Tech) or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required
• Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills to foster positive resident relationships
• Must be able to follow recipes and cook
• CBRF certified

Pay: $12.00 - $12.01 per hour
