New Horizon Lodge is seeking dedicated and compassionate CAREGIVERS / MED TECHS to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to elderly residents ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a warm environment where residents feel valued and cared for. Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's care by implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques
• Provide personal care in accordance with care plans while maintaining dignity and respect for each resident
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition for residents
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through routine cleaning tasks and proper infection control procedures
• Support residents' social engagement by encouraging participation in activities and providing companionship
• Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely to support mobility needs
• Document all care activities thoroughly in EMR systems and communicate effectively with team members about resident status

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
• Assisted Living: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medication administration: 1 year (Preferred)
