Caregiver (Monday & Friday)

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team on Mondays and Fridays. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and support to individuals in a variety of settings, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patients’ health by observing vital signs, mental status, and overall condition, reporting any concerns promptly
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with meal consumption as needed
• Support medication administration following proper procedures and HIPAA privacy standards
• Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization to promote a safe environment
• Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s <PERSON> to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance
• Follow individualized care plans designed by healthcare professionals to meet each resident’s unique needs

Skills

• Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes setting
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques and patient monitoring practices
• Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
• Ability to perform CPR and basic first aid confidently in emergency situations
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality at all times
• Competence in caring for residents with disabilities or requiring long-term care support
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and families
