About the Anchor Role

The Anchor provides non-medical personal care and support services to clients in the home and other approved settings. This role focuses on assisting with activities of daily living while protecting client dignity, privacy, safety, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

Hospitality & Client Experience

• Create a welcoming, comfortable, and uplifting environment for clients.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and their families.
• Learn clients’ preferences, routines, and comfort needs.
• Support meaningful engagement, companionship, and connection.
• Demonstrate Nurturly hospitality standards in every interaction.

Personal Assistance Services

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene, and other personal care needs.
• Support safe mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation as authorized.
• Assist with meal setup, feeding support, light housekeeping, and laundry related to client care.
• Follow the client service plan and assigned schedule.

Safety & Observation

• Observe and report changes in mood, appetite, mobility, cognition, sleep patterns, and overall well-being.
• Identify potential safety concerns before they become incidents.

Documentation & Compliance

• Document services accurately and report changes, concerns, incidents, or missed visits promptly.
• Protect confidentiality and maintain professional, respectful communication at all times.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and service-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrates emotional intelligence and professionalism.
• Able to safely assist with activities of daily living.
• Able to follow instructions and document services accurately.
• Prior caregiving or personal care experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must complete required training and screenings.
• Reliable transportation is preferred.
