Job Description: WNC Senior Sitter / Companion Care Provider

Position Title: Senior Sitter / Companion Caregiver
Location: Western North Carolina (WNC)
Employment Type: Part‑time or Full‑time

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Senior Sitter to provide non‑medical companionship and support to older adults throughout Western North Carolina. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping seniors maintain comfort, safety, and emotional well‑being in their homes or care facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer friendly companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Provide supervision to ensure client safety
• Assist with light household tasks such as tidying, meal prep, and laundry
• Support with daily routines (reminders, mobility assistance, organization)
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities (if required)
• Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior
• Maintain a respectful, patient, and positive environment

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working with seniors
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality
• Experience in senior care, caregiving, or customer service is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass background checks

Working Conditions
