Caregiver / Resident Care Assistant

Tremont Ridge Assisted Living is seeking a Resident Care Assistant to join our team and assist our residents with their daily tasks, along with other duties to ensure residents have a safe and enjoyable living environment.

We have a full-time and part time position with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
• Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
• Performs household services essential for resident care, including but not limited to: Meal prep and serving meals, dining assistance, clean up. Laundry, & Housekeeping
• Administers medications and treatments as delegated by RN
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ Individual Service Plans & health status
• Support residents with mobility assistance and transfers
• Implement behaviour management techniques for clients with specific needs
