Resident Aide

Duties:

- Provide direct support and care to residents in a home care setting.
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare meals and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Monitor and document residents' behavior and report any concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with behavior management techniques to promote a safe and supportive environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident living areas.
- Drive residents to appointments or outings as needed.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in direct support or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and social work principles.
- Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility needs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor. -Dependability, accountability, and attendance to scheduled shifts a must!
