Caregiver - Third Shift (Assisted Living / Overnight Support) WEEKENDS ONLY

Avonlea Cottage, a well established Assisted Living Facility in Milan, IL, is currently hiring a WEEKEND Caregiver - Third Shift to provide overnight care and support to our residents. This is a hands-on role for compassionate individuals who take pride in helping others and are committed to excellence in senior care.

Position: Caregiver - Third Shift

• Shift Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Setting: Residential Assisted Living

Responsibilities of the Caregiver - Third Shift:

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
• Monitor and support residents physical and emotional well-being throughout the overnight hours
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and tasks as assigned by Nurse supervisor.
• Ensure residents are safe, comfortable, and secure during nighttime hours.
• Respond promptly to resident needs.

Qualifications for the Caregiver - Third Shift Role:

• Experience as a Caregiver or CNA in an assisted living or long-term care setting.
• Must pass a Healthcare Worker Background

Check

• Patience, integrity, and a genuine love for working with elderly populations
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
• Must be able to lift, move, and transfer residents as needed
• Good prior work histor
