Job Summary
We are urgently seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in Bardstown, KY. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe their overall health status to ensure safety and well-being.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when required.
• Administer medications accurately following care plans while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
• Support patients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques.
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any changes in condition to ensure seamless communication within the care team.
• Perform light cleaning duties to uphold a hygienic environment in accordance with health standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is essential.
• Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are required or must be obtained upon hire.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia enhances your ability to provide specialized care.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and assisting residents with mobility aids like Hoyer lifts.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
