We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver with flexible availability to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient well-being, excellent observation skills, and the ability to adapt to diverse care environments. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those under your care by delivering personalized assistance with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional support.
Duties
- Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe changes in health status, reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of care areas.
- Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance.
- Implement and follow individualized care plans designed by healthcare teams to meet each resident’s unique needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment that promotes dignity and independence.
Requirements
- One year of experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings.
- Clear Criminal History
- Reliable Transportation to take clients on errands
- Valid Drivers License
- Valid Car Insurance
- Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and meal preparation efficiently.
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with mobility using appropriate equipment.
Pay: $12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
