Caregiver - Waynesville Location

Gina’s DayCare Learning Academy in Waynesville is currently seeking caring, reliable, and motivated caregivers to join our team. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can grow academically, socially, and emotionally, while building strong and respectful relationships with the families we serve.

Position Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable and consistent attendance

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Hours of operation: 6:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• No weekends
• No federal holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and support age-appropriate activities that promote all areas of child development
• Lead daily classroom routines in a structured, engaging, and responsive way
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment
• Encourage positive behavior, social skills, and emotional growth through consistent guidance
• Observe and document children’s development and communicate with families on progress and milestones
• Use hands-on materials to keep children actively engaged in learning
• Provide individualized support to help each child build confidence and independence
• Participate in required trainings and ongoing professional development to meet state licensing standards
