Caregiver/Companion (Transportation Required)

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable caregivers to provide non-medical homemaker and companion services, including transporting clients to appointments, remaining with them during visits, and safely returning them home. This role focuses on safety, supervision, and quality of life support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and supervision for client safety
• Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying)
• Prepare simple meals and assist with errands
• Escort clients to medical appointments and outings
• Drive clients using your personal vehicle
• Remain with clients during appointments as needed
• Monitor for changes in condition and report concerns
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and clear communication

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Reliable, insured vehicle
• Willingness to transport clients and stay during appointments
• Current CPR certification
• Florida Level 2 background screening
• TB skin test within the past 12 months
• Ability to pass additional pre-employment screening if required
• Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required

Pay & Schedule

• $16/hour- Homemaker & Companion Caregiver
• $18/hour- Transportation cases
• $15 transportation bonus per appointment
• Minimum shift: 2–3 hours
• Flexible scheduling (part-time / PRN)
• Daytime availability preferred (most appointments occur during business hours)

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
