Caregiver/Med Tech

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in an assisted living environment. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide patient monitoring and observe for any changes in health or behavior
• Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA guidelines
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary
• Support residents with memory care, dementia, Alzheimer's, and other cognitive impairments using specialized techniques
• Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers safely
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, vital signs, and patient progress
• Follow prescribed care plans developed by healthcare professionals
• Ensure a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and sanitation tasks
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts safely
• Strong interpersonal skills with patience, compassion, and excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of care plans, social work principles, and patient monitoring techniques is advantageous
• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, able to work independently or as part of a team, and committed to providing high-quality resident-centered care
