Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Med Tech to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance and medical support to residents in an assisted living setting. Your expertise will help enhance the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs, including those with dementia. Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols, including oral medications, injections, and tube feeding as needed.
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; document findings meticulously in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
- Provide specialized care for residents with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or memory impairments through tailored activities and compassionate support.
- Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
- Engage in home & community care activities that promote wellness and safety for individuals.
- Operate EMR/EHR systems efficiently for documentation of resident care activities and medical records management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and caregiving best practices.
- Experience administering medications and performing clinical tasks such as tube feeding and catheter care.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; ability to document accurately and efficiently.
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory-related conditions such as Alzheimer’s or dementia.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure the privacy and security of patient information.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings requiring attention to detail and compassionate communication.
- Certification as a Med Tech (Medication Technician) is highly preferred; relevant nursing or medical office experience is a plus.

Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
