Caregiver / Medication Technician / CNA

Position Summary
At Rosebrooke Senior Living, Caregivers and CNAs deliver compassionate, resident-centered care in a supportive environment. Team members assist residents with daily living activities and promote their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Qualifications

• Reliable, responsible, and punctual
• Respectful toward older adults; receptive to direction
• Strong communication skills with residents, families, and team members
• Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and professionalism
• Experience in senior care or healthcare settings preferred, but not required
• Ability to show empathy and understanding toward residents and their families

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Support residents with mobility and transfers as needed
• Help prepare, serve, and clean up meals and snacks
• Perform laundry tasks, including clothing, linens, and towels
• Administer medications according to training and established procedures (Medication Technicians)
• Participate in and support resident activities and engagement programs
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or mental condition
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff
• Answer phones and greet visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Complete assigned housekeeping and maintenance duties
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting
• Attend required training and continuing education sessions
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements
This role requires a full range of motion, including lifting, transferring, and assisting residents. Duties involve extended periods of standing and walking, as well as lifting up to 30 pounds. The position also requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and the ability to work in occasionally stressful or irregular conditions, with vision and hearing corrected to a normal range.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
