Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers/PCA (Personal Care Assistants) to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. This role involves helping residents or clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support with medication administration following proper protocols
- Monitor and record vital signs and health status updates
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote social engagement
- Assist with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer techniques
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and personal care routines
- Support residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, or memory care needs through specialized techniques
- Document care activities accurately using EMR systems or other documentation tools
- Drive clients to appointments or activities when required (if applicable)
- Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures and emergency response plans
Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, retirement homes, or group homes is preferred
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory care best practices
- Ability to assist with ADLs and provide personal care with compassion and professionalism
- Familiarity with medication administration and vital signs monitoring
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or behavioral management skills is a plus
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in home & community care settings
- Basic cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic environment
- Proficiency in EMR systems for documentation purposes
- Valid driver’s license for driving responsibilities (if applicable)

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
