Caregiver/Personal Assistant

We are seeking homecare caregivers to provide a variety of homecare service to clients in their homes. Services can include personal cares, home health aide, homemaking, independent living skills and more.

We are hiring caregivers to provide services to clients living in and around the Lacrosse, WI area.

The caregiver must be able to provide the services needed based on the client’s care plan and must be able to effectively communicate with the client and supervisor. Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check in the state in which he/she will be working. The caregiver must have reliable means of transportation to work.

Flexible scheduling available.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Repetitive lifting, pushing or pulling a minimum of 50 lbs is expected.

The individual must be able to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for clients, promoting hygiene and safety.
• Uphold resident rights and dignity while working collaboratively with families and healthcare providers.
• Document care provided and any observations regarding the client’s condition or behavior.

Skills

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred but will train.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
