Caregiver/Personal Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care settings, including nursing homes, hospice care, and home community care. This role requires a patient and attentive individual who can assist with daily living activities and ensure the well-being of clients.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide direct support to clients in memory care or hospice settings, ensuring comfort and dignity.
- Monitor patients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to create personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
- Document care provided and any observations regarding the client's condition or behavior.

Experience
- Previous experience in patient care, nursing homes, hospice care, or home community care is preferred.
- Familiarity with memory care techniques and patient monitoring practices is a plus.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication skills when interacting with clients.
- Knowledge of meal preparation for individuals with dietary restrictions or special needs is beneficial.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between client locations if necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
