Part-Time Caregiver Needed for Senior Adult in Private Home

We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and organized caregiver to assist an elderly family member in her home.

This role focuses primarily on companionship, assistance with daily activities, transportation, household support, and meal preparation. The ideal candidate is patient, trustworthy, reliable, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social engagement
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and errands
• Grocery shopping and prescription pickup
• Meal planning and preparation
• Laundry and linen changes
• Light housekeeping and household organization
• Assistance with scheduling and reminders for appointments
• Assist with day-to-day household tasks and activities
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving, home health, CNA, personal assistant, or senior care experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Schedule

• Part-time
• Flexible schedule
• Approximately 15–20 hours per week (depending on candidate availability and needs)

This position is in a private residence. We are seeking someone who is kind, patient, dependable, and committed to helping an older adult remain safe, comfortable, and independent in her home.

Background and reference checks will be conducted prior to employment. References are required.

We are looking for someone who will treat our loved one with dignity, respect, and compassion while providing reliable support with daily activities and household needs.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
