Caregiver/Personal Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Assistant to provide exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities and personal care. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts
• observe patient conditions, and report changes promptly to healthcare professionals
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and following care plans and HIPAA regulations
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental health and social engagement
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces
• Support clients with memory care needs related to Alzheimer's disease or dementia through specialized techniques and patience
• Follow established care plans, document accurately, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and privacy laws

Experience

• Prior experience working in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or dementia-related conditions
• Experience handling heavy lifting equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident transfers is desirable
• Proven ability to work compassionately with seniors or individuals with disabilities in a respectful manner

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
