Caregiver/Personal Assistant/Direct Care Worker/HHA/CNA

Homewatch CareGivers is looking for compassionate reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aids (HHAs), Direct Care Workers (DCWs) and Personal Care Assistants to care for our clients in the client's home. Duties of Certified Nursing Assistants, Home Health Aids and Personal Care Assistants may include attendant care, activities of daily living and personal care, such as; assisting with grooming and toileting, meal preparation and feeding, engaging client in activities, light housekeeping, and transportation. Work as many or as few hours as desired very flexible. This is a great opportunity for getting back to the workforce. We cover the entire state of Delaware and Southern Chester County. Major Responsibilities:

· Light housekeeping

· Menu planning, meal preparation and set up

· Laundry and linen change

· Transportation/shopping

· Bathing and dressing assistance set up only

· Safety and companionship

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

· Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facility

· Must meet hiring criteria as defined in the agency's minimum standards

· Must have reliable transportation with insurance

· Must be able to function with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining a professional relationship with the client

· Must accept responsibility for maintaining skills and learning on an ongoing basis, as well as adhering to agency policies

· Satisfactory background screening results

Personal Care Aid Physical Qualifications:

· Able to work an average of 20-40 hours per week

. Able to bend, climb, stoop, and stand an average of 5 hours per day

· Able to communicate effectively*Also Required*

· High School Diploma or GED

· Valid driver's license

· Car insurance and reliable transportation.

· Must be able to pass a criminal background and child abuse check.

· Weekend work is required.'
