Caregivers and Med Techs for Memory Care Residents

SWING SHIFT: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Positive, strong work ethic
• Experience with the elderly who have Dementia/Alzheimer's
• Flexible
• Reliable and dependable
• Possess a valid driver's license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be a "people" Person
• Good time management skills
• Able to communicate effectively and respectfully with residents and staff
• Kind and respectful
• Professional and Mature-minded

POSITION OVERVIEW

MedTech:

• Medication Certification Required to pass meds.
• Administer and document medications given to residents.
• Follow ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) of all residents.
• Conduct wellness checks on residents throughout the shift.
• Report any and all observed changes in resident behavior to Nurse.
• Encourage Teamwork and maintain a positive attitude.
• Complete incident reports as needed.

Caregiver:

• Follow ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) of all residents.
• Report any and all observed changes in resident behavior to the Nurse.
• Conduct wellness checks on residents throughout the shift.
• Encourage Teamwork and maintain a positive attitude.
• Complete incident reports as needed
• Availability for OT.

Pay: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Alzheimer's care: 2 years (Required)
• Dementia care: 2 years (Required)
