Caregivers (Podgorica, Montenegro)

The Caregiver provides compassionate support and assistance to individuals who are elderly, disabled, or recovering from illness. This role involves helping clients with daily living activities, monitoring their well-being, and ensuring a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely (wheelchair, walker, etc.)
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
• Administer medications under supervision, if qualified
• Monitor clients’ health, report changes, and maintain care records
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
• Support clients with errands, appointments, and transportation as needed
• Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
• Maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
• Certification as a Home Health Aide or CNA (if applicable)
• Basic understanding of first aid and emergency procedures

Physical Requirements

Work Environment

• Clients’ homes, assisted living facilities, or healthcare centers
• Exposure to bodily fluids, medical equipment, and various living environments
