Requirements
- One Year experience in caregiving in a facility or home health Setting
- Clear Criminal History
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid Car Insurance
- Reliable transportation to take clients to appointments
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor patients’ health status by observing vital signs and reporting any concerns promptly.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment through regular cleaning and organization tasks.
- Support clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices when necessary.
- Document care activities accurately while respecting patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home settings, or working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of first aid, CPR, Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and autism support.
- Familiarity with patient observation, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and care planning.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Experience working within HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality and privacy.
