Position Title: Teacher/Caregiver
Minimum Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for the overall classroom management for Super Kids Academy, LLC in accordance with Minimum Standards, Day Care Policies and Procedures.
Duties:
1. Provide the children with a safe and healthy learning environment appropriate to the age and stage of development.
2. Maintain a clean and warm learning environment for the children at ALL times.
3. Supervise children at all times during indoor/outdoor activities.
4. Report all children’s Illnesses, observation, and sudden changes to the Director, and Parents.
5. Conduct a classroom observation daily and document children’s progress daily.
6. Plan and conduct Parent/Teacher conferences as assigned by the director.
7. Attend all educational trainings, workshops, and conferences.
8. Represent Super Kids Academy, LLC accurately and positively to the community.
9. Report all suspected cases of Child Abuse and Neglect to the proper authorities.
10. Report all accidents to the Director and proper authorities.
11. Assume personal responsibility for participating in professional growth and career development.
12. Will be expected, on occasion to work longer hours and attend evening meetings and weekend trainings.
13. Must attend First-Aid and CPR and other training necessary by Super Kids Academy, LLC to comply with Minimum Standards.
14. Must conduct any other duties assigned by the Administration/Director.
15. Must administer any medication necessary to all children enrolled at the center or assigned his/her designee.
16. Dress code- Must be proper- No shorts or baggy pants, No open toed shoes, No revealing clothing.
17. Tardiness must be reported prior to work schedule. Absences will be approved according to business needs only and have to be scheduled with director at least a week prior to work schedule. A phone call to director is required if you will be absence.
18. NO Gossip.
19. Personal Leave, Sick Leave, or Vacations will not be paid.
20. Only 7 holidays will be paid after one year as a full time employee.
21. Must Sign IN and Out at ALL TIMES.
22. New Employees will be given three months probation upon date of hired
23. NO CELL PHONES ARE ALLOWED IN DAY CARE CENTER.
