Caregives needed 9am-4PM weekends

Home Care Assistance is hiring experienced caregivers to care for an elderly client in Allentown.

We are looking for compassionate and reliable individuals who love to care for seniors.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Assist client with Activities of Daily Living: Personal Care (bathing/grooming); Meal Preparation; Medication Reminders; Laundry/Light Housekeeping.
• Provide transfers and gait assistance, as required
• Work one-on-one with the client, enhancing their quality of life
• Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds.

We’re looking to hire the best caregivers, who have:

• Minimum 1-year of caregiving experience preferred
• Many clients request COVID-vaccinated caregivers, so vaccination is highly recommended to maximize your availability for shifts.
• Experience caring for clients with Alzheimer’s/Dementia
• Passionate about caregiving and helping others.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Current 2 step PPD, Quentiferon gold or chest x-ray with Tuberculosis neg results.
• Excellent references from past employers and supervisors.
