Cargo Logistics Director

About the Role:
Saryal Cargo Channel Logistics & Freight Services W.L.L. is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Cargo Logistics Director to lead freight operations, cargo distribution, and supply chain management in Kuwait City. This role focuses on overseeing large-scale logistics operations, optimizing freight movement, and ensuring efficient coordination across regional and international cargo networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics Operations Leadership: Oversee end-to-end cargo, freight forwarding, and logistics operations
• Freight & Distribution Management: Manage air, sea, and land freight operations and cargo movement
• Supply Chain Optimization: Improve operational efficiency, reduce logistics costs, and streamline delivery performance
• Customs & Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to customs regulations, shipping laws, and trade compliance standards
• Warehouse & Inventory Coordination: Supervise cargo storage, distribution hubs, and inventory workflows
• Strategic Planning: Develop logistics strategies, route optimization, and expansion initiatives
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with shipping agents, airlines, customs authorities, and transport partners
• Risk & Crisis Management: Handle operational disruptions, cargo risks, and contingency planning
• Team Leadership: Lead logistics managers, freight coordinators, and warehouse operations teams

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Senior-level experience in cargo logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain leadership
• Skills: Strong operational, analytical, and logistics management capabilities
• Education: Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in freight services, cargo operations, customs, and distribution networks
• Leadership: Ability to manage multi-site logistics operations and large operational teams

Pay: KD2,200.000 - KD4,500.000 per month
