Cargo Sales Officer

Pak Turk Enterprises Private Limited is looking for a skilled Cargo Sales Officer with a minimum of five years of relevant experience to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, implementing effective sales strategies, and analysing the market to identify opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics sector. The role requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to customer retention and contract management. The selected candidate will oversee a team of two persons, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment with the company’s sales goals and operational standards. The Cargo Sales Officer plays a crucial role in driving business growth by maintaining excellent client interactions and optimizing logistics and cargo management processes. This position demands proficiency in cargo management software and a daily commitment to visiting clients or potential customers to expand the company’s market presence. The officer will coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient cargo handling while upholding the highest service quality and compliance standards within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to enhance cargo and freight forwarding business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service delivery.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential customer segments.
  • Manage contracts and negotiate terms to secure favourable agreements that align with company policies.
  • Lead and supervise a team of two members, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve sales targets.
  • Utilize cargo management software to track shipments, analyse data, and streamline logistics operations.
  • Coordinate daily visits to clients and prospects to promote services, address concerns, and strengthen partnerships.
  • Implement customer retention strategies to foster long-term loyalty and satisfaction among clients.
  • Collaborate with logistics management teams to ensure smooth coordination of cargo handling and timely delivery.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and performance analyses to inform management decision-making and strategy adjustments.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting freight forwarding and cargo services.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity and achieve departmental goals.
