Cargo Van Delivery Driver - Part Time

Approximately 18 hours per week. Regular scheduled hours are Wednesday 8:30 am - 12:30 pm, Thursday rotation of 7:30 am - 2:30 pm and 8:30 am - 12:30 pm, and Friday 7:30 am - 2:30 pm. Ability to occasionally substitute on other weekdays would be helpful but not required.

Duties:
* Safely operate cargo van to transport boxes of books and other items to libraries in Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Marquette, Waushara, and Winnebago counties as well as deposit sites in the Oshkosh area.

* Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery. Communicate with office staff to report any delivery issues or delays.

* Load and unload vans using equipment such as hand trucks, push cart dollies, and cargo lift. Transported items may weigh up to 75 pounds each. Push cart dollies may weigh up to 500 pounds.

* Complete paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.

* Perform routine vehicle inspection and complete daily checklist. Communicate with office staff to report any vehicle issues or needs. Transport vehicle to service center as needed for oil change, tires, etc.

Qualifications:
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Skill in communicating effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
*Ability to adapt to change; willingness to learn new ways of doing things.
* Inter-personal skills; capable of working in a team environment.
*Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff and member library staff.
