CARPENTER

Perform repair, maintenance, and finishing of all types of furniture, cabinets, doors, and windows.

• Carry out varnishing, polishing, & painting of wooden surfaces to restore/improve their condition.
• Fabricate and assemble fixtures like cabinets, tables, drawers, shelves, and counters as required.
• Repair and adjust door locks, hinges, handles, and other hardware fittings.
• Conduct repair and minor installation of aluminum doors, windows, and partitions.
• Carry out repair, maintenance and installation of gypsum partitions, fit-out works, etc.
• Familiar with various types of woods and bye-materials and their effectively and efficiently usage
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of all carpentry tools, equipment, and materials.
• Inspect and diagnose defects in wood and aluminum fixtures and do corrective repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work as per safety and quality standards.
• Candidate will be working collaboratively as part of the MEP Maintenance Team and assisting other trades (electrical, plumbing, AC, Civil, etc.) as and when required.
• Coordinate with the supervisor to plan, prioritize, and complete assigned works on time.
• Report daily progress, completed works, and material requirements to the supervisor.
