Carpenter

We are looking for a dependable and experienced Carpenter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial construction and be proficient in a wide range of carpentry tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finish carpentry, including framing, drywall installation, cabinetry, and custom woodwork.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plastic, and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to accurately execute project requirements.
• Install doors, windows, cabinets, shelving, trim, and other fixtures according to design plans.
• Construct frameworks, partitions, scaffolding, and other structural components.
• Assist with staircases, flooring, roofing, and additional wood-based construction features.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards, specifications, and building codes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications to existing wooden structures.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Follow all safety procedures and job-site regulations.
• Track materials used and document completed tasks as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; carpentry apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a carpenter, ideally within a general contracting environment.
• Solid understanding of carpentry methods, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Proficient with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and carpentry-related equipment.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
• Physically capable of lifting materials up to 50 lbs and performing demanding tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with custom cabinetry, trim work, and detailed finish carpentry.
• Knowledge of drywall installation and finishing.
• Ability to speak Arabic is an asset.
