Carpenter – Furniture Manufacturing

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and installing custom-made furniture and joinery products, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and assemble wooden furniture, cabinets, doors, panels, and other joinery items.
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools with precision and care.
• Measure, cut, shape, and finish wood and wood substitutes to exact specifications.
• Install joinery and furniture components on-site when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the workshop and on-site.
• Carry out basic maintenance of tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience.
• Proven experience as a Carpenter in a furniture or joinery works environment.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, tools, and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of craftsmanship.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Relevant vocational training or certification is preferred.
