Carpenter Handyman with Drywall Experience

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Carpenter Handyman with drywall experience to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of construction, repair, and maintenance tasks across various sites. Your expertise in carpentry, drywall installation and repair, and general handyman skills will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your diverse construction knowledge while contributing to the upkeep and improvement of residential, commercial, or restoration projects.

Duties

• Perform carpentry tasks including framing, trim work, door hanging, and metal stud framing with precision and attention to detail.
• Install, repair, and finish drywall surfaces; including taping, mudding, sanding, and texture application.
• Handle general handyman duties such as fixture installation, caulking, painting, and flooring installation to enhance project outcomes.
• Assist with water damage restoration efforts by identifying issues like mold remediation and water damage repair.
• Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute construction plans and modifications.
• Conduct plastering, stucco work, masonry repairs, and tile laying to meet project specifications.
• Support construction site activities by maintaining safety standards, managing tools and materials efficiently, and collaborating with team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction, site work, or related fields with a focus on drywall and carpentry.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to construction projects.
• Hands-on experience in drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, metal stud framing, and trim carpentry.
• Familiarity with restoration industry practices including mold remediation and water damage restoration techniques.
• Ability to perform plumbing tasks such as fixture installation or basic plumbing repairs; experience in construction plumbing is a plus.
• Skilled in construction painting using airless paint spraying techniques as well as finishing carpentry like door hanging.
• Knowledge of flooring installation methods for various materials including tile; experience with masonry is advantageous.
