Carpenter / Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and trim carpentry to restoration and remodeling. As a key team member, you will contribute to building, repairing, and restoring structures with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install various building components using hand tools and power tools
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute projects
• Perform framing work, including metal stud framing and wood framing for walls and structures
• Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, siding, trim, and molding with attention to detail
• Assist with concrete forming, masonry work, roofing, and water damage restoration tasks
• Operate machinery for fabrication, rebar installation, and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) equipment when necessary
• Support demolition, remodeling, drywall installation (plastering), flooring (tile and wood), and painting projects
• Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining adherence to safety protocols on construction sites
• Conduct site cleanup and prepare work areas for ongoing or upcoming tasks
• Follow schematics and blueprints precisely to ensure project accuracy and quality standards

Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders)
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and material fabrication techniques
• Skilled in trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, siding application, and cabinet setup
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for demanding tasks
• Familiarity with water damage restoration techniques including mold remediation and plastering
• Knowledge of rebar installation for concrete projects and masonry work
• Experience with roofing systems, metal stud framing, drywall finishing (including plastering), and flooring installation
• Basic electrical experience such as wiring or fixture setup is a plus but not required
• Understanding of plumbing systems for remodeling or repair projects
• Ability to interpret construction plans accurately and follow schematics effectively
• Prior experience in the restoration industry or manufacturing environments is highly desirable
