Carpenter – Metal Framing & Door Framing (2-Week Project, Starts October 6th)

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be capable of working on diverse construction projects. As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in building and repairing structures, ensuring that all work meets safety standards and project specifications.

Duties

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Perform metal stud framing for walls and ceilings.
• Execute trim carpentry tasks including the installation of moldings, door frames, and cabinetry.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
• Carry out heavy lifting as necessary to transport materials and equipment on construction sites.
• Install drywall and siding as part of the finishing process for various projects.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Skills

• Proficiency in frame carpentry techniques.
• Experience with metal stud framing and trim carpentry.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately.
• Knowledge of drywall installation methods.
• Familiarity with siding installation processes.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting safely.
• Basic welding skills are a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
