Carpenter Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all carpentry and joinery works at the project site.
• Coordinate daily activities of carpenters, helpers, and subcontractors.
• Read and understand technical drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications.
• Ensure proper installation of joinery items, furniture, doors, cabinets, wall cladding, ceilings, and other woodwork.
• Monitor work progress and ensure projects are completed within deadlines.
• Conduct site measurements and coordinate with the production and design teams.
• Ensure material availability and proper utilization at the site.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure finishing meets client requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients regarding site progress.
• Identify and resolve site-related issues and technical problems.
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with company procedures.
• Prepare daily work reports and manpower updates.
• Inspect completed work and rectify snag items if required

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of carpentry, joinery, and furniture installation works.
• Ability to read technical/shop drawings.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of site safety procedures.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• UAE driving license is an added advantage.
