Carpenter/Framer

Custom home builder now hiring experienced Framers! You will work alongside other tradesmen to build and construct residential single-family homes and townhomes from the ground up. Work is local and hours are steady year-round. We offer a competitive wage and full benefits.

Duties:

• Wood framing of residential homes from the ground up
• Assembling wall and floor panels
• Setting of trusses
• Proper & Safe Usage of Hand tools and Power tools
• Follow safety guidelines while on job sites or working in a shop
• Hauling of material and tools
• Site clean up
• Operate hand and power tools
• Work at heights two to three stories up
• Build exterior decking and stairs
• Ladder, harness, and Lift use
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Knowledge of framing trade as it pertains to ground up construction of residential structures
• Prior experience and understanding of use and safe practices related to power tools, relevant machinery and gear
• Reliable transportation daily to and from job site
• Possession of work boots, tool belt and basic hand tools
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Willingness and ability to work outside in varying temperatures and elements
• Willingness to participate in any/all safety training required for the position
• Willingness to learn and advance
