Job Summary:

The False Ceiling Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all types of false ceiling systems, including gypsum board ceilings, grid ceilings, acoustic panels, and decorative ceiling systems. The role requires precision, craftsmanship, and compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Qualification:

ITI Trade certificate holder

Minimum 3 years experience in the false ceiling and painting works

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret ceiling layout drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.

Install various types of false ceilings such as gypsum board, grid tile (T-bar), metal, and acoustic ceilings.

Cut and shape ceiling materials using hand tools or machines for lighting, AC grills, and other service provisions.

Coordinate with MEP and HVAC teams to ensure openings and access panels are aligned with services.

Ensure ceiling levels are accurate and finishes are smooth and aligned.

Repair damaged ceilings and perform patching and painting work when required.
