Carpentry Chargehand (Veneering Section Head)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Carpentry Chargehand to lead our Veneering Section (Fitouts & Joinery). The candidate will be responsible for supervising veneer works, ensuring quality standards, managing manpower, and meeting production targets within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily veneering activities.
• Ensure proper veneer matching, pressing, trimming, and finishing as per drawings and specifications.
• Allocate tasks to carpenters and helpers efficiently.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
• Maintain quality control and ensure timely completion of work.
• Follow safety standards and company procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in joinery & Fitouts /veneering works.
• Strong knowledge of veneer types, polishing preparation, and finishing standards.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Leadership and team management skills.
