Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpentry Foreman to lead our carpentry workshop. The ideal candidate will possess deep practical knowledge of carpentry techniques, exceptional leadership skills, and the technical ability to accurately interpret complex shop drawings and blueprints. You will be responsible for overseeing daily carpentry operations, ensuring that production meets our stringent quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and manage the daily activities of the carpentry team to ensure efficient workflow and high productivity.
• Technical Interpretation: Read, interpret, and execute technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D design plans with precision.
• Production Management: Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of wooden structures, fixtures, and custom units.
• Quality Control: Inspect ongoing and completed work to ensure it meets exact project specifications and company quality standards.
• Resource Allocation: Manage materials, tools, and machinery on the workshop floor to minimize waste and optimize production time.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to factory safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) among all team members.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with the Technical Drawing Department, metal fabrication, and other unit heads to ensure seamless project integration.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience: Proven background working as a Carpentry Foreman or in a senior supervisory carpentry role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Technical Skills: Expert-level knowledge of woodworking, joinery, and carpentry materials, alongside proficiency in operating standard workshop machinery.
• Drafting Literacy: Exceptional ability to read, understand, and translate technical drawings into finished physical products.
• Leadership: Strong team management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to Detail: A critical eye for precision, measurements, and high-quality finishing.
