Job Overview

Lush Loom Carpets & Curtains is looking for an experienced and hardworking Carpet Fixer (Carpenter Category – Skilled Worker) to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the measurement, cutting, installation, repair, and maintenance of carpets in residential, commercial, and retail spaces. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality finishes according to client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure and prepare floors and surfaces accurately for carpet installation.
• Cut, trim, and shape carpets to fit rooms, staircases, and hallways.
• Install carpets using adhesives, tack strips, stretching tools, and other equipment.
• Perform carpet repairs, re-fittings, and replacements when required.
• Ensure carpets are aligned, smooth, and free from defects.
• Maintain all tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness at the worksite.
• Collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and helpers to complete projects on time.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpet Fixer / Flooring Technician / Carpenter (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of carpet materials, flooring techniques, installation, and maintenance.
• Ability to read measurements, layouts, and work independently with precision.
• Physically fit to handle heavy lifting, cutting, and fixing tasks.
• Basic communication skills in English, Arabic, or Urdu/Hindi (preferred).
• Must be a Skilled Worker with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
